Action items
Cadence has brought our team together. Everyone is clear on who owns what, and I can hold the team accountable between meetings, not just in them. The dashboards surface the numbers I need to direct the business and correct its course, quickly and without anyone building a report.
The problem
Right now, the business stays on track because you keep it there.
Most growing businesses run their leadership on spreadsheets, meeting notes and memory. It works, as long as one person keeps pulling the numbers together and checking that what was agreed actually happens. Usually, that person is the owner.
You rebuild the numbers before every meeting.
Revenue lives in the books, operating numbers live in another tool, and the rest lives in a spreadsheet somebody updates by hand. Someone spends an evening assembling them into a report nobody fully trusts.
The same issues keep coming back.
The agenda is a copy of last week’s. What was decided three months ago is in a document nobody can find, so the same conversation happens again and ends without a decision.
Commitments slip unless you chase them.
Action items are written in the notes, but nobody is clearly named and nothing is due. The next meeting opens with “where did we land on that?” and you end up following up yourself.
None of this means your team doesn’t care. They’re busy running the work, and your other software runs its part well. Nothing holds the leadership rhythm together, so it falls to you.
How Cadence helps
See where you stand. Decide what matters. Make sure it happens.
One weekly leadership rhythm your whole team runs, built on the numbers you already have, so keeping the business on track stops depending on one person.
Know where the business stands.
Your scorecard puts the numbers leadership watches in one place: revenue, gross profit, new leads, open roles, whatever matters to you. Each has a target, a trend and an on-track flag, so the team can see what needs attention before anyone says a word.
- One scorecard the whole team shares
- Targets, trends and on-track at a glance
- Connected numbers drill down to the rows behind them
On Core, your team types the week’s numbers in. On Operate, Cadence reads them from your accounting, line-of-business and Microsoft 365 systems and adds dashboards, so nobody builds a report.

Agenda
Action items from this meeting
Decide what needs attention.
Run the leadership meeting in Cadence. Review the scorecard together, then work through the issues that matter most. Issues and open points carry forward until someone resolves them, and every meeting keeps its own agenda, notes and decisions, so the same conversation doesn’t restart from scratch.
- Issues stay on the list until they’re solved
- A record of every decision, searchable later
- Run it in the meeting format you already use
Make sure action follows.
Every action item leaves the meeting with an owner and a due date. When the meeting ends, everyone gets the summary and each person gets their own to-dos. Anything still open is waiting at the next meeting, so follow-up becomes part of the rhythm instead of something you do by hand.
- An owner and a due date on every action item
- Two-way sync with Microsoft Planner
- Remind an owner about an open to-do in one click

Why we built Cadence
We couldn’t find software that ran a business our way. So we built it.
We’re Allen and Chris. We advise business owners for a living, and we own and run several businesses of our own. We know what it is to be the person who pulls the numbers together and checks that what was agreed actually happened. For years we looked for software that ran our leadership meetings the way we run them and let us shape it however we liked. We never found it.
So we built it, starting with meetings. A meeting is only worth the action it produces, so action items became tasks. Tasks became the work, the work became time recorded against it, and the time became billing. Before long, the whole business lived in one place.
One system, where every piece of data flows into the next.
That’s Cadence: one place where the numbers, the decisions and the follow-through live together, customizable to how you work and designed by consultants who run businesses themselves. It’s how we help our clients run their companies the way we would advise them to. Now it’s yours too.

One system · every piece connected
Works with what you run
For any business. Connected to the software you already run.
Cadence sits on top of the systems you already pay for. Nothing is imported or migrated: an admin connects each one in about ten minutes, and can disconnect it from the same screen. Cadence started with IT service providers and recruiters, so their systems connect first, and more are added all the time.
IT service providers
Tickets, agreements and profitability by agreement, read straight from your service-management and documentation platforms.
Recruiting & staffing
Open roles and your hiring pipeline by stage, beside revenue and the rest of the business.
Professional services
Client engagements, time recorded against them and the invoices raised from it, in the same system as the meeting.
Every business
Leadership meetings, action items in Planner, your CRM pipeline, and the numbers from your books, website search and social channels.
When you’re ready to grow
Put your pipeline and your website in the same rhythm.
Once the leadership rhythm is running, add the numbers that drive growth. Your pipeline and your website’s search performance sit beside the meetings and scorecard that run the company, so growth gets reviewed every week instead of once a quarter.
CRM
Leads, the companies they work at and what happened with each, including the ones that arrive through your website forms. New leads land on the same scorecard leadership reviews.
SEO
Audit your website, see search and traffic from Google Analytics and Search Console, and work through a prioritized list of quick wins and content gaps.

What Cadence is
Cadence is a business operating platform for owners and leadership teams. It runs the weekly leadership meeting, tracks action items with owners and due dates, and keeps a shared scorecard of the numbers leadership reviews — typed in on Core, or read automatically on Operate from the accounting, line-of-business and Microsoft 365 systems a business already uses. Higher plans add dashboards, the business plan, time and billing, a CRM and SEO tools. It is made by CDAERIS Consultant Network, who built it to run their own businesses and client engagements, and it is sold as a monthly subscription from $99 USD for five users, with guided onboarding from a business consultant.

FAQ
Questions
Who is Cadence for?
Owners and leadership teams of growing businesses that meet regularly and want the numbers, the decisions and the follow-through in one place, instead of depending on one person to pull it all together. It works in any industry.
What is Cadence?
Cadence is a business operating platform for running the business week to week: leadership meetings, action items with owners and due dates, and a shared scorecard of the numbers leadership reviews. Operate reads those numbers from the software you already run and adds dashboards; Grow adds a CRM and SEO tools.
Is Cadence only for one industry?
No. Cadence runs any business that holds regular leadership meetings and wants its numbers in one place. It started with IT service providers and recruiting firms, which is why their systems connect first, and more integrations are added all the time.
Does Cadence replace my line-of-business or accounting software?
No. Those keep running their part of the work. Cadence sits above them and runs the company — meetings, action items, goals and the numbers leadership reviews.
How long does setup take?
Signing up and running your first meeting takes minutes. Connecting a system takes an administrator about ten, and the first full set of numbers appears as soon as the first sync finishes.
Do I need to connect my systems to get started?
No. On Core, your team types the week’s numbers in, and you can run your first meeting the day you sign up. Reading numbers automatically from your accounting, line-of-business and Microsoft 365 systems, with dashboards, comes with Operate.
What does Cadence cost, and in what currency?
$99, $250 or $495 US per month, each including five users. Additional users are $15, $25 or $35 per month depending on plan. Annual billing is two months free. Everything is billed in US dollars, wherever you are.
Which systems does Cadence connect to?
ConnectWise, Autotask and IT Glue for IT service providers; JazzHR for recruiting; QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft 365 for any business; LinkedIn for Socials on Operate; and Google Analytics and Google Search Console on Grow. More are added all the time — ask us about the software your business depends on.
What do the CRM and SEO tools do?
The CRM keeps your leads, the companies they work at and what happened with each, including leads from your website forms. The SEO tools audit your website, show search and traffic from Google Analytics and Search Console, and list the quick wins and content gaps worth working on. Both are on the Grow plan.
Is there an onboarding fee?
Every plan comes with onboarding from a Cdaeris business consultant: 3 hours on Core, 5 on Operate and 10 on Grow. The one-time fee is $300, $500 or $1,000, and it is waived for early customers.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes. No notice period.
Who makes Cadence?
CDAERIS Consultant Network. It was built to run Cdaeris’s own businesses and client engagements, and is now sold directly.
The rhythm is the product.
A business that meets on time, decides on the record, and reviews numbers it trusts compounds. One that doesn’t, doesn’t.
