Liesl Design Paint & Mural

Liesl Petersen is a Squamish-based artist drawing creative inspiration from her surrounding landscape and the Sea-to-Sky region. She maintains a dual artistic practice: large-scale murals of recognizable geographic locales and intimate studio works using acrylic, ink, and watercolor.

Beginning as a painting contractor in 1997, Liesl evolved into a muralist combining technical precision with intuitive freehand techniques. Her work is characterized by collaborative processes that encourage public participation.

She specializes in interior and exterior murals across various surfaces — including the first aerial rooftop art of its kind in Western Canada.
